As you can probably tell from my interests and my community memberships, I'm a bit of an odd person. I like anthropology, history, and music and actually think studying can be fun. My hobbies include collecting and wearing kimono, watching anime, listening to music (J-pop and Celtic music are my favorites), studying Japanese and Irish (Gaelic), burying my nose in books, writing, collecting ball-joint dolls, sewing, and embroidering. I love to travel and the only thing standing in the way of doing more of it is money. I lived in Japan for a year while teaching on the JET Program and recently finished my second Master's.
