BioAs you can probably tell from my interests and my community memberships, I'm a bit of an odd person. I like anthropology, history, and music and actually think studying can be fun. My hobbies include collecting and wearing kimono, watching anime, listening to music (J-pop and Celtic music are my favorites), studying Japanese and Irish Gaelic, wearing Lolita fashion, burying my nose in books, writing, collecting ball-joint dolls, sewing, knitting, and embroidering. I love to travel and the only thing standing in the way of doing more of it is money.
My journal is friends-only aside from one entry, where you should comment if you want me to friend you. I like making new friends so you'll probably wind up friended back :) Just mention where you found me so I can figure out who you are.
Fair warning to you, my tolerance level for racists, sexists, homophobes, bigots, people with a tendency to judge and ridicule others without bothering to get to know them, and intolerant people in general is really low. I do make a distinction between things said in the heat of a rant and things that seem to be typical behavior, though.
I have a great icon collection going, and I love all of them. Sadly, I don't know who made most of them, so since I'd like to give credit to the makers of my lovely user icons, please let me know if you have any info on any of them. Thanks!
I also have an awesome moodtheme collection:
Draco Malfoy moodtheme by...er...I can't remember at the moment (and thus feel like an idiot), so I must look it up.
Roy Mustang, Alphonse Elric, Envy, and Edward Elric moodthemes by frozenwithin. I just have to upload two of them...
